In 2023, Leonardo Helicopters will break ground on a new customer support center at Whiting Aviation Park in Northwest Florida, adjacent to Naval Air Station Whiting Field. This new state-of-the-art facility will deliver Leonardo Helicopters’ award-winning customer support services in even closer proximity to our customers.
The new facility’s capabilities will include:
- Full MRO Part 145 Repair Functions
- Main Gearbox Testing
- Airframe Fixtures
- Dynamic Component Overhaul
- Mechanical Avionics
- Structural Composites
Groundbreaking will occur in 2023 with operational capability expected in 2025. As the facility is under construction, Leonardo Helicopters has already begun operating with an FAA Part 145 certificate from nearby Peter Prince Airport in Milton, Florida.
